Cohen Van der Velde

I am an enthusiastic, passionate photographer based in Phillip Island near Melbourne, Australia. Whilst my passion is documenting the streets, it also extends to landscape, portraiture and macro photography.

My vision is to document the human element within the urban landscape - in an everyday moment - highlighting human interaction and movement within this space. My philosophy is simple:

'That every ordinary moment, is quite possibly, extraordinary.'

My passion has led me to travel and photograph the streets of the UK, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Czech Republic.

Current projects include a personal 365-project and Street for Streets Project, that aims to raise awareness and funds to battle youth homelessness.
